Neil Davis Chairman

Neil Davis became involved with Tool Hire in the Mid-1980’s and Fosseway Hire was formed in 1994. He had previously been working in farm management.

Neil has always been a ‘hands-on’ employer working next to his staff in any role necessary, no matter how lowly and in all weathers. He still occasionally stands in as a delivery driver and seems happiest when he’s in his overalls, doing something practical. He’s always allowed his staff to grow by empowering them and operating an open door policy.

“We started the company with three staff, including me, and a red Citroen Van. Now we have 13 delivery vehicles and a fleet with the best hire equipment we can find. Our focus is on Customer Service and Value – and our objective is to grow sustainably, supporting and training our staff to meet our customer requirements”
