Barrow Hoist
The Barrow Hoist is designed to fit onto an upright scaffolding tube which has been braced correctly so that the weight of its operation does not compromise the scaffold as erected. (We strongly recommend that a qualified scaffolder is used). The barrow hoist is an electrical powered winch to lift a wheel barrow full of mortar (attached with chains) up to the scaffold height.
Description
This hoist is fixed to a true vertical upright piece of scaffolding allowing you to safely lift materials up onto the scaffold platform in a wheel barrow.
Our hoists come complete with control box, mounting brackets (for the scaffold upright only) and wheel barrow chains are available on request.
Powered by 110 volts so you will need a transformer and 110 volt extension lead.
The Maximum lifting capacity is 200 kgs and the lifting cable length is 25 metres.
Your scaffolding must be rated to take the weight of the load and certified by qualified scaffolder.
