ADVICE.
Our advice is usually free and if its not – then we will tell you in advance. We are happy to discuss your current or future project with you and do our best to give you sound advice about equipment you need to complete the job or project you propose.
If we think our equipment may be too heavy or demanding for you we will do our best to guide you in finding somebody who may help. If we don’t have the equipment you need from our own hire fleet, our experienced staff will usually know who has.
We don’t recommend specific trades people or contractors but we will try to give you several contacts to ask.
If we need to do specific site surveys for lifting contracts or container deliveries, we may charge for this service.
EQUIPMENT USE.
All our equipment comes with a safety instruction leaflet. This will give you advice to follow to ensure your safety.
Many of the equipment listings on this site have links to manufacturers operating instructions and Fosseway Hire are frequently adding new demonstration Videos to the site – all of which can be found on our YouTube channel.
All our staff offer a demonstration on equipment use when you collect or upon delivery. Our staff can only advise you about a specific item if they’ve been told, the specific application.
Our staff are instructed to refuse a hire and return equipment if they consider that a customer would be unable to operate the equipment safely and responsibly – this is for your safety.
Our first and foremost concern is the safety of our customers, staff and the public who may be near where the equipment is operating. Please feel free to ask us any questions that will help make your hire a safe and successful one
