Digger Mounted Post Hole Borers Hire

We hire post hole augers to fit on our 1. 5 ton diggers. The powerful hydraulic motor connects to the machines hydraulic system and interchangeable auger bits of the desired size are then simply fitted onto the motor. By operating the auxiliary circuit pedal you can then drill the auger directly into the ground, it’s constant spiral flight brings the loose soil to the surface leaving a neat post hole.

We have auger flights in 76mm, 152mm, 227mm and 300mm diameters equipped with tungsten teeth capable of boring neat post holes through even hard and compacted ground conditions, we also have an 800mm extension bit meaning you can bore down to a depth of 1.5m! Being digger mounted these augers reduce forces and stresses on the operator when compared to hand operated machinery.
